Digital Photo Stories are put together with text, photographs, video, and music on Microsoft Movie Maker. Students start by filling out a Digital Photo Story graphic organizer. Students can go to www.pics4learning.com and select pictures for their photo story. They can go to Free Play Music and select 2-3 songs. Then they can take the information/research they have collected on the subject matter and write text to go with each photograph. They can then choose music that goes with the theme, slide transitions, and then later they can work with adding video clips.
Once you get really good at making digital photostories with pictures and music try adding video clips by downloading your clips at Discovery Education at www.discoveryeducation.com.
